Giving it a shot!

Well, I figured I might try this whole 'blogging' thing.  It seems a great way to keep friends and family 'in the loop' so to speak.

I have been keeping busy with field training.  I will graduate and become a fully fledged State Trooper on April 22nd.  I am looking forward to being done with training and putting to use my acquired skills!

I've also been getting out hunting as much as possible.  Danner loves to fetch; and he is showing a keen interest in hunting as well!  He did great the few times we made it out this spring.

Rachel will be graduating with her degree as a Registered Nurse on April 29th-30th!  AHH!!!  She's almost done!  I'm very proud of her, as it certainly has been a tough road for her.  She has weathered the storm and will be a great nurse.  Aside from that, I'm ready for all those heavy, thick, burdensome textbooks to go back to where ever they came from and give us our coffee table and end table space back!

Best Buddies.

Danner has been maturing into a fine dog.  He had a 'mystery' wound a while back, we're not sure how it got there, but it has since healed.  He sure keeps us on our toes with more-than-desirably-frequent trips to the Vet!  He still loves to play fetch - especially with the frisbee.

Spring is definitely here in our neck of the woods.  The rivers are starting to recede and the frost is almost completely out.  It does make our road a muddy quagmirey mess, but we're surviving.  The house we're renting is still on the market and we fear it will sell soon, but again, we're surviving.

Well this gives a quick insight to the happenings in our lives right now.  Stay tuned...we certainly live a tumultuous life and it is certain to keep you on your toes, right along with us!
